Just Liberty builds tools around a simple commitment: make useful information and practical preparation more accessible. JustLegal is offered free so people can learn, organize, and prepare regardless of whether they can afford professional assistance.
Our tools are not a replacement for an attorney or another qualified professional. They are a way to make the time before—and the conversation with—that person more useful.

Free still takes work.
The tools have costs.
Our users don't need a paywall.
Hosting, maintenance, content review, accessibility, and ongoing development all take resources. The project began with the founder's work. Contributions and partnerships can help sustain it and bring in the expertise needed to improve it.
We describe funding priorities so supporters can discuss what they want to make possible. We do not present hoped-for funding, planned work, or unmeasured outcomes as completed results.

How a free tool stays up.
Citizens are not the customer.
The public platform stays free.
People in a court case are not charged for JustLegal.me or VoteReady. The organization looks to four kinds of support: charter sponsorships from law firms under ABA Model Rule 7.2(b)(2), forensic data workups when a firm asks for them, court-awarded fee sharing only where a state bar rule allows it, and philanthropic grants.
Those paths are how the work can be sustained. They are not a claim that a panel, a retainer, or a grant is already in place. Email Joshua to discuss one.
