Accessibility features on this site

The TrueJust.org website includes several architectural measures to support all visitors:

• Keyboard navigation: Logical tab flow, skip links, and visible focus outlines on all interactive elements.
• Color & typography: Contrast ratios meeting or exceeding 4.5:1 for standard text, with scalable rem-based font sizing up to 200%.
• Assistive software compatibility: Structured HTML5 semantic regions (<main>, <nav>, <header>, <footer>) and descriptive ARIA labelling.
• Motion settings: Respect for OS-level prefers-reduced-motion settings; background ambient effects are subdued or paused automatically.

Native accessibility vs. overlays

We do not use automated third-party overlay widgets. As highlighted by disability rights advocates and the National Federation of the Blind, automated overlays can introduce privacy risks, disrupt custom screen-reader configurations, and fail to remediate underlying structural barriers.

We focus instead on semantic, clean source code that works natively with your personal assistive devices.
