THE NAME HAS A STORY
Meet
Miss Liberty.
A rescue dog. A companion through difficult days. The very real Liberty behind Just Liberty.
HOW THEY FOUND EACH OTHER
Some beginnings
come with four paws.
Liberty was rescued from a kill shelter in South Carolina and brought to New Jersey. During a difficult time in Joshua's life, a Christmas gift made adopting a companion possible. That is how he found her.
She became an anchor through the work and the uncertainty. Later, her own experience surviving cancer added another chapter to their story of persistence.
The organization's name carries that connection: a reminder of care, companionship, and having a reason to keep going.
